Grants for Research

Individuals and groups seeking to further academic knowledge or increase understanding in a facet of life may seek a research grant. Perhaps the most important and popular of these grants are the medical grants, which are very competitive and can come from a variety of funders, including federal and private agencies. The National Institute of Health can offer great advice on how to get the best grants and contracts. Research grants can be found in a variety of ways, including through grants.gov, Internet searches in your field of interest, or through GrantsNet, a subsection of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
